This is Fred’s first time ever releasing a skate board deck— and they’re really something special. The B-52s and Fred where such a HUGE part of the skate scene. If you’re a skater over 40, you remember jamming to Fred’s music at the ramp jams. The design concept for this board came from Fred’s activism to protect the lobsters. (You might recall Fred’s “Let the lobsters rock on!” campaign with PETA.) The decks are a limited edition, only 150 sets, a must-have for any collector of 80s skate, music, or activism memorabilia.
